On 7 June heavy fighting ensued. Gur's paratroopers entered the Old City of Jerusalem via the Lion's Gate, and captured the Western Wall and the Temple Mount.
The war began on 5.6.7 (day-month-year). thats rounded from 5.6.1967.AD. The day after 6.6.7 or 6.7.7 the IDF entered THE LIONs GATE and was now in control of all of Jerusalem.
